What is a Downline?

If you join a network marketing company (NeoLife) you are then what is called an Independent Distributor or Promoter of the company.

Many people don't know that even if you reach the last level (rank), you are still a distributor (5DD Afeez Tijani).

What is a Downline?

If you introduce someone to network marketing company (NeoLife) and he/she registered, the person becomes your downline and you become his/her sponsor.

Let say you have 5 people as your downlines, and those 5 people decided to introduce their opportunity to their prospects (friends, family, coworkers, etc.)

Because of the efforts of those 5 people, 10 more people see the vision of the company, believe in the product and decide to become distributors.  You will have 15 people as your downlines. Your original 5 sponsors 10 that decided to become distributors.

Usually the only place where you will hear the term downline, is in network marketing company.  Also, you will hear it use to describe a person or a group of people who are sponsored by another distributor.

The Importance of Downlines

When I first started my journey in Network marketing (NeoLife), I asked the same question, "What is a downline?"  The fact is downlines are important due to the fact that it develops a team of people that become a support system.  They also determine the size of your income.

This is essential to implement downline leadership to have team spirit and growth within the team.  An advantage to being a downline is that your upline’s income is based on how well they help and train you in order to succeed. So you as a downline will have a direct person to go to anytime you need help with your business.

In most cases your upline will do the work with you if you are still new to the company. However, all in all, uplines and downlines are a team of people who work together to achieve a common goal.

Mind you! Your downlines are not there for you and they are not working for you, they are there for themselves. But, the company will be rewarding you for educating them and giving them the opportunity to change their lives and lives of others.

Our work is to educate people about our products and business opportunity, and how to live healthy and financial stable.

Therefore, your downlines are 100% back bone of your business, water them well with knowledge.
